The East Side district loaned its aircraft this week to spray an area near Denair within the Turlock Mosquito Abatement District.
Because resources are more limited this year, the two districts have agreed to occasional mutual aid to attack potential West Nile hot spots.
No infected mosquitoes have been detected this year; the virus usually surfaces in June.

A 43-year-old male patient with good past health attended the Accident and Emergency Department of UCH on March 18 due to persistent flu symptoms over one week.
He was directly admitted to Intensive Care Unit for further treatment due to severe pneumonia.
He was prescribed with Tamiflu and antibiotics and required ventilatory support.

Florence city crews are left scratching their heads after more than a dozen birds were found dead on city streets.
City officials were notified Thursday morning of the dead crows.
While they were picking up several crows more were discovered just down the street.
This has happened in other places before but causes can vary. We're not real sure what the causes were but just to be sure on our end we did follow through and notify al health department -Phil Stevenson

A 6-year-old child is the fourth confirmed death from swine flu in Mobile County.
Tucker's mom tells LOCAL 15 News her son had been sick off and on for about a week when he suffered a major heart attack.
Subsequent testing has since linked his death to the HINI virus.
